Warrior Vault is a private care management application built for caregivers of children and adults with complex medical needs. It is built by a caregiver, for caregivers.

Section 2

What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains:

This policy applies to the Warrior Vault website (warriorvault.app), the Warrior Vault application (app.lovingliam.com / app.warriorvault.app), and any email communications we send you.

Section 3

Information We Collect

3.1 โ€” Information you give us directly

When you sign up for the Warrior Vault waitlist, we collect:

We do not collect your name, phone number, payment information, or any other personal information at the waitlist stage.

3.2 โ€” Information stored in the Warrior Vault app

The Warrior Vault app stores care information that you enter โ€” including your child's or care recipient's medical history, medications, appointments, and other care records.

โœ“ This data is stored locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. We cannot access it, read it, or recover it if your device is lost. This is a deliberate design choice โ€” your child's medical information belongs to you.

3.3 โ€” Information collected automatically

When you visit warriorvault.app, standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time spent, and referring URL.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising technology on warriorvault.app. No cookies are set for tracking or advertising purposes.

Section 4

How We Use Your Information

4.1 โ€” Waitlist email address

Your email address is used solely to:

We will not email you for any other purpose without asking for your consent again.

4.2 โ€” App data

Because your app data is stored locally on your device, we do not use it for any purpose. We cannot access it. We do not analyse it, monetise it, or share it.

4.3 โ€” What we will never do

Section 5

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR โ€” EU / UK users)

For users in the European Union and UK, we process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:

Consent (Article 6(1)(a))

We process your email address for marketing communications only where you have given us your explicit, freely-given, and informed consent by ticking the consent checkbox on our signup form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing privacy@warriorvault.app.

Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f))

We process server log data for security and fraud prevention purposes. This is a legitimate interest that does not override your fundamental privacy rights and freedoms.

Section 6

Data Storage and Security

6.1 โ€” Waitlist email data

Your email address and consent record are stored with Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email service provider. Brevo is GDPR-compliant and stores data on servers within the EU. Their privacy policy is available at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.

6.2 โ€” App data

All data you enter in the Warrior Vault app is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. It never leaves your device unless you use the Backup & Restore feature to download a copy.

6.3 โ€” Backup files

If you use the Download Backup feature, a .json file containing your vault data is downloaded to your device. This file is your responsibility once downloaded. We recommend storing it securely โ€” for example, in an encrypted cloud storage folder โ€” and not sharing it publicly.

6.4 โ€” Security measures

Section 7

Data Retention

Waitlist email addresses Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Consent records are kept for a minimum of 3 years after the consent relationship ends, as required by CASL. App data Stored on your device only. Deleted when you clear your browser storage or uninstall the app. We hold none of it. Server logs Retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then deleted. Backup files Your responsibility once downloaded to your device.
Section 8

Email Communications

This section satisfies CASL (Canada), CAN-SPAM (United States), and GDPR (EU/UK) requirements for commercial electronic messages.

8.1 โ€” We only email people who ask us to

We only send marketing or product emails to people who have explicitly opted in using our signup form. We never send unsolicited commercial messages.

8.2 โ€” What we send

We will not send promotional emails for third-party products or services.

8.3 โ€” Sender identification

Every email we send will clearly identify the sender:

8.4 โ€” Unsubscribing

Every marketing email includes a clearly visible, one-click unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from our list โ€” in practice immediately, and within 10 business days as required by law.

You can also unsubscribe by emailing privacy@warriorvault.app with the subject "Unsubscribe".

Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect your ability to use the Warrior Vault app.

Section 9

Your Rights

All users

European Union / UK users (GDPR)

Canadian users (PIPEDA / CASL)

California users (CCPA / CPRA)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@warriorvault.app. We will respond within 30 days.

Section 10

Children's Privacy

Warrior Vault is a tool designed to be used by caregivers โ€” adults who manage care on behalf of children or other dependents. The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16 through our website or waitlist.

The care information entered in the app about a child is entered by their caregiver (a parent or guardian), not by the child. That data is stored locally on the caregiver's device, not on our servers.

Section 11

Third Parties

11.1 โ€” Email service provider (Brevo)

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to manage our waitlist and send emails. When you sign up, your email address, consent record, and signup date are shared with Brevo for this purpose only. Brevo acts as a data processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

11.2 โ€” Web hosting (WPX Hosting)

warriorvault.app is hosted on WPX Hosting. Server logs may be processed by WPX as part of normal hosting operations.

11.3 โ€” No advertising or analytics third parties

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any advertising technology on our website. No data about your visit is shared with advertising platforms.

11.4 โ€” No data sales โ€” ever

โœ“ We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to any third party โ€” for any price, including zero. This will never change.
Section 12

International Data Transfers

Warrior Vault is operated from Canada. If you are located in the European Union, UK, or another jurisdiction with data transfer restrictions, your email address may be transferred to and processed in Canada and on Brevo's EU-based servers.

Canada is recognized by the European Commission as providing adequate protection for personal data (EC adequacy decision under GDPR). Transfers to Brevo are governed by their EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Section 13

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy when our practices change โ€” for example, when cloud sync is introduced, when payments are processed, or when new features affect data handling.

When we make material changes, we will:
